1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using any Craftr tool (together, the "Service"), including NameCraftr at name.craftr.com, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users and any other parties that access it.

2. Description of the Service

Craftr makes small tools for people starting something. NameCraftr helps you find, save and explore business names and domain names available for purchase through domain registrars and marketplaces. Other Craftr tools are announced on craftr.com as they open. The Service allows you to:

• Generate and search for business names and domain names
• Save names to a personal favourites list
• Click through to domain registrars and marketplaces for purchase
• Access name and domain related information and recommendations

3. Your Craftr account

One account, every tool: A Craftr account works in all Craftr tools. To create one you must provide accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential.

Your responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has used it or if you notice any other breach of security.

Accurate information: You warrant that the information you give when creating an account is truthful and accurate, and you agree to keep it current.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Purchase records, where they exist, are kept for as long as the law requires.

4. Affiliate links and third-party services

Affiliate relationships: We are transparent about our affiliate relationships. When you click a domain link on NameCraftr, you may be directed to a third-party website through an affiliate link. Your interactions with these third parties are governed by their own terms and policies, not these terms.

No endorsement: While we carefully select and recommend domain registrars and services, Craftr does not endorse specific third parties and makes no representations about their products, services or reliability. Your use of third-party services is entirely your choice and at your own risk.

Your responsibility: Before completing any transaction on a third-party site, review its terms of service, privacy policy and pricing. Craftr is not responsible for the actions, content, accuracy or policies of any third-party site.

5. Domain availability and accuracy

No guarantee: Craftr makes no guarantee that any domain listed will remain available or that information about a domain (such as pricing, registration status or ownership) is accurate or current. Domain registries and registrars are constantly updated, and we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.

Verification required: Before attempting to purchase a domain, verify its availability and details directly with the registrar or marketplace. Craftr is not responsible for discrepancies between information shown on our tools and information on the registrar's website.

6. Data collection and analytics

What we collect: Craftr collects user data including but not limited to:

• Account information (name, email, created date)
• Browsing behaviour and names or domains viewed
• Saved favourites and bookmarks
• Click data and referral information
• Device and browser information
• Usage analytics and engagement metrics

Purpose of collection: We collect this data to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Track affiliate conversions and commissions
• Understand user preferences and behaviour
• Personalise your experience
• Ensure service security and prevent fraud

Data protection: Your data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR. Please refer to our privacy policy for full details on how your data is handled, stored and protected.

7. User conduct and prohibited activities

You agree not to use Craftr tools for any of the following purposes:

• Harassment, defamation or abuse of any person or entity
• Illegal activities or violation of any applicable laws
• Unauthorised access to Craftr systems or networks
• Interference with or disruption of the Service or servers
• Transmission of malware, viruses or harmful code
• Scraping, crawling or automated access without permission
• Circumventing security measures or account restrictions
• Fraud, scams or misrepresentation
• Spam or unsolicited commercial solicitation
• Infringement of intellectual property rights

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund or compensation.

8. Intellectual property rights

Our content: All content on Craftr tools, including text, graphics, logos, design and compilation (the "Craftr Content"), is the property of Craftr or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Limited licence: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Craftr tools for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or transmit any Craftr Content without our express written permission.

What you make: Names you generate and brands you create with Craftr tools are yours to use. We do not claim any rights to them. Someone else may arrive at the same name, so we cannot promise that a name is unique to you. You retain ownership of the information you provide (such as account details), and you grant Craftr a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that information to operate and improve the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

Not legal advice: Our domain, trademark and handle checks are a pre-screen. They are not legal advice. Check with a professional before you register a business, a domain you depend on, or a trademark.

No liability for third parties: Craftr is not liable for any actions, omissions, products, services or policies of third-party domain registrars, marketplaces or other linked sites. You use these services entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of damages: In no event shall Craftr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Maximum liability: Craftr's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Craftr in the past 12 months, or if you have not made any payment, zero (0).

10. Changes to the Service and these terms

Craftr reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice or liability. We may also update these terms from time to time. We post changes here with a new date, and for significant changes we email account holders before they apply. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Account termination

Termination by you: You may delete your account at any time from your account page, or by contacting us.

Termination by us: Craftr may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason including violation of these terms, illegal activity or abuse of the Service.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your saved names and account data may be deleted. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitation of liability and governing law) remain in effect.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms shall be exclusively brought in the courts of Cyprus, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if that is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our privacy policy and cookie policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Craftr regarding the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, representations and agreements, whether written or oral.
